Mission Statement: The mission of PWBF is threefold.
First, by networking, we strive to help
Second, through education, we endeavor to develop entrepreneurial, management, and business skills through presentations, seminars and trainings. At the core of our education, we focus on the skills and knowledge that make us better leaders in our businesses and the community. Our forum will offer a co-operative environment where entrepreneurs and executives can empower each other by finding common ground and assisting each other in solving common problems. We seek to instill the capacity to meet the particular challenges that face female entrepreneurs and executives in today’s business world. Together, we grow our companies and our careers.
Third, we are community of women business owners and executives who play an important role that makes a direct impact on the quality of life both locally and globally. It is imperative that we continue to strengthen our role model position as an economic and social influence through our businesses. Thus, we actively seek any resources at our disposal, through government (as in SBA women directed programs), private institutions, or non-profit programs. In as such, we invite such types of institutions to present us with the opportunity to learn about both local and global resources that would benefit our businesses.
Finally, as a niche community, there are issues that directly affect our well being. Remaining informed is critical to our success in positively influencing change to create ongoing opportunities for female executives and business owners. We invite our attendees to make us aware of issues that may need our attention as a community. By empowering each other, we empower ourselves.
